We are so happy with Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington. Gena, client care manager, initially went to my mother's house and spent time learning about her and her needs. Then she sent Zenona (aka Z), a young woman who--I don't know exactly how she's doing it, but it's like my mom, who is 96+, has a new zip in her step. She is so much happier. It is such a relief to feel the solid support. Every day, my mom says, "Z is great!" They go for walks, have lunch, do PT exercises, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Plus, the agency is very well managed and efficient, good at communicating about scheduling, billing, you name it. If I could do a six-star rating, I would. The care managers and office staff have been great right from the start and are easily reachable by phone or email. They clearly strive to understand and meet my mother’s needs, and work to assign compatible caretakers. The website lets me look at care notes, the schedule, and invoices to keep track of things. And the caretakers have been wonderful - Upbeat, helpful, encouraging, responsible. Tammy was extremely responsive to my initial inquiry and Gena, our case worker, was fantastic as she helped navigate the process with my parents. The caregivers for my mom were kind and attentive and very helpful. We look forward to continuing to use them in the future as our needs progress. They were able to find a caregiver so quickly, and care so well for her, during that difficult time.
